Traffic distribution. This is what affiliates do, right? The quality of each of the sources is going to range very differently. So, you got to be careful with what you're willing to run traffic to. It's never going to be the same, right? Your EPCs are going to be different for every one of these different channels. The quality of traffic, the conversion rates - they are going to be different.

I spent the last 17 years building my eight-figure performance business without using any of my own money, working with some of the most brilliant direct response marketers in the world today. Affiliate traffic channels
As far as I'm concerned, if you own your own media, if you have distribution, you will never have a problem making money in your life - ever. It is the most powerful thing on the internet. Everybody is looking for traffic. Everybody’s looking to get their offer out to the marketplace. They want distribution. If there's something you're going to focus on, it is figuring out a way to get an audience, OK? So I have a bunch here that I've listed. But listen - I talk to you guys all day long about this, right? I'm building the software SurveyDetective. I plugged it in here, right? Just because it's my presentation, I have nothing to sell you. I'm not selling anything at all. I'm just trying to help you. I don't want to sell you guys anything. I won't sell anything at the end of this at all. I'm just helping you. But I'm building survey software. Why? Because I know it works, right? Surveys, quizzes, assessments. Ultimately, by using those surveys, those quizzes, those assessments, you can generate leads. Then you create a database, where you have the ability to control your own media. And by doing so, you can now communicate with these people to either sell an affiliate product, somebody else's product, a third-party offer. We do nothing but just grab the link and start promoting, right?
You can go to Amazon right now. Sign up as an affiliate and promote anything on Amazon. So, anytime somebody is interested in getting something you like, Oh, where'd you get that? Oh, Amazon, I'll send you a link. Right? Well, go set up an affiliate account with Amazon. And if somebody's interested in something that you purchase from Amazon, and they want it, send them a link with your affiliate link instead of just send on Amazon. It's free money. The consumers are paying the same thing no matter what. So when I get paid for it, it's a no-brainer. I mean, talk about the easiest side hustle there is, guys, this is it. OK, people are struggling with not sure how to make money. This is it. I'm not saying you're gonna make $20-$30-$50 million by just doing this simple thing of going to Amazon's affiliate links, OK, but it's gonna be somewhere that you can start where you're going to start getting paid. OK. So, surveys, quizzes, assessments, the whole concept there is building up your database generating leads, so that you can now own your media, my favorite thing in the world, I can go into way more detail on the strategies and how you would use that. There's a few. And it's very, very powerful. But so use the other ways that affiliates drive traffic, right email. What does that mean email. So like I said earlier, you could be somebody that's generating leads through surveys, you're building up a database, and you can send offers to that specific audience. That'll be you sending the solo email, there could be newsletters, right? You can go in and find somebody has a newsletter. And when they send out newsletter with content, they have different spots, where they allow advertisements within the newsletter. So an email goes out, there's a newsletter in your inbox. So you see four different articles that you can click on. But you also see some ads that are relevant to you. Those ads could be affiliate offers, right? That's how they monetize their newsletter, right? websites, display ads, right? Someone has a blog. So just writing up information about their life and talking about what they do. could put ads all over the page, top side bottom, there's all kinds of stuff there. Right? Those are ads that can be clicked and linked out to an affiliate offer, right? So any of the anybody's that a content site, if you look at that, I promise you somewhere on that page, they are promoting advertisers, they may have a direct relationship with a big advertiser, they may bring in Google, right? AdSense, OK, in that, in that way, Google gives you some code, they put AdSense on your page, they have tons of advertisers, right? Tons of advertisers. So in that, in that case, you don't necessarily have to go out and find the advertisers, you work with a big network like Google, who will bring all those advertisers to your site for you to monetize. Right? So those are the kinds of ways that it works influencers, right? Anybody that has a platform, OK, and you can drive and influence on people, right? these are, these tend to be really powerful. Like if you have an influencer, who's an affiliate of yours. It's powerful, because they have diehard people that follow them, listen to everything they say, as an influencer, they have to be very careful with what they promote, you can't just promote anything you do that your audience is gonna get pissed, right? So you can find influencers, but you got to find influencers, where it's relevant to their audience, and it's actually adding value. OK, there are some companies out there that are looking to monetize their database. While Yeah, they're gonna send relevant offers to the database. Their main job is just to make money off that list. influencers, yeah, they want to make money. But they have to be very, very careful of how they do that they have to be very selective on what they choose to promote, as an affiliate, it has to be relevant to the audience has to make sense. You can't pick your audience off and if you do, you’ll lose them forever. And everything's about trust, when you're an influencer. So what are the platforms? Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, you name it, anything you can think of Facebook, any social channel, where you have a platform to speak to people, right? an influencer could be somebody that has live events, right? Anything, you know, you can get a bunch of them. You build up a good amount of influencers that can really move the needle, it can be super powerful. And the conversion rate on sales on higher ticket items, converts better than anything I know. Pay Per Click. That's search, right Google, Bing, Yahoo. So if you go to Google, and you go to search for something, Google's monetizing every search that is taking place on their sites. OK. So if you go and you type in cat food, you'll see three ads at the top for people that are buying, or they're bidding on the word cat food, so they're willing to pay x per click. So people that are arbitrage doing PPC pay per click, what they would do is they could take an affiliate offer, and then they can go and buy clicks on Google and drive traffic to their affiliate link. Right. Makes sense. So you can go into Bing and start bidding on different keywords and driving traffic to your unique links. Instead of maybe the company that you're working with doesn't do that. Maybe they don't they don't invest in PPC. Well, that's a huge opportunity. Right? It's it's some of the best traffic on the internet. Right people searching for your product. Podcasts, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram podcast people could sponsor the the beginning of the podcast, the back of the podcast, YouTube is mean, you can create videos that could be evergreen in less forever, they do a good job of of giving out knowledge and information about a product or service. And then having some links within that video could pay you for 10 years. If you do a bang up job, and if it's awesome, it's gonna go viral, you're gonna get a ton of views. I know people that are still getting paid for YouTube videos they've done 510 years ago, it's not easy. It's not easy. So don't think you just go make a video and start getting paid. However, it's possible. And there are guys out there that do it. Right. Facebook media buying is probably one of the most popular things, buying newsfeed traffic, right, you're on Instagram, you're scrolling, and then you see an ad pop up, there's a lot of other ways you can do it. One of the powerful things about Facebook is they have so much information on you that they're able to target and optimize, which ads go to which people
in a very powerful way. And it converts does really well. So as an affiliate, you can be somebody that goes and buys Facebook traffic for an advertiser, arbitraging it, right. Or you can find somebody that is a Facebook buyer, and you bring them an affiliate offer. I'll get into that in a little bit. But so SMS text messaging, people are opting in, you're getting text messages that you can click and link out to, or you can click and drive an inbound call to a telemarketing for right push notifications. If you're ever on a website, and it pops up, there'll be like notifications on your computer, right? And things will drop down. So you might get a question of Would you like to opt in for push notifications? If you say yes, then the website that you're on now has the ability to send notifications to your computer, they have the ability to do at any time. It could be annoying at times, they have to be careful how they do it. The traffic's, OK, quality is OK. Right. But it works. Right? If you find the right products and services. For the right audience, it works. native ads, what are native ads outbrain taboola, those are two companies that are the leaders in need of it. So you're on a website, and you're reading an article. And then you get to the bottom of the website. And then you see something like, you may also like, and you see all these different articles and like crazy things. You know, the Blue Man that ate the alligator? You'll see stuff like that that's what are they doing? They're creating curiosity, they're trying to get you to click. So what Albert into Bula have done is they've built up a list of publishers, people that have websites with tons of traffic, and they place their widget on those websites. Now you can go into the pool or outbrain. And you can bid to be in the widget of other websites. Call right up and click OK. So you can arbitrage that you can go in yourself and buy a click, maybe they charge you 25 cents, you bit they'll charge you, right you bit and based on who's bidding the highest gets the traffic. But if you're bidding 25 cents, you get a click to the five cents goes to your page. What happens after that, right? In that scenario? Remember, we talked about an EPC? We want to know what are we making per click? If we're paying 25 cents per click, then with every making more 25 cents, right? So when you look at your offers, and you see that you're generating 50 cents EPC you know that you can go on to native and test out at 25 cents. Right? Now, if you're doing 50 cents, earnings per click through email. That doesn't necessarily mean you're going to generate 50 cents per click in a native it. OK. And I'll get into that in a second because I think it's really important to explain to you guys about traffic, OK, and traffic quality. But so let me just get through this quickly. Pre roll post roll pre roll post roll means you can buy it so on YouTube, what YouTube does is they sell they sell ad space in before video plays when the video ends, and in between times, so you can go into YouTube and you can target different people that are watching different videos. As an example, if you want to target Tony Robbins audience, you can go into YouTube. And you can look to target different videos around what Tony Robbins has out in the marketplace. And you want to get in front of that video. So when someone clicks, that ad will will play. I'm sure you guys have seen if you've been on YouTube, and it'll say you can skip this ad and five seconds 54321. Some people skip some people don't bottom line is you're getting in front of an audience of people that could be relevant for the product that you're trying to promote. Alright, so again, you could do it, you can find an affiliate that does it. And then you get them the offer. Exit traffic offer wild traffic, right? registration paths, mid path solutions, those are all types of traffic where like on an exit somebody on a website, they're about to leave. So they go to leave, and maybe something pops up before you go, you may like this. Right? offer wall. So there's different types of offer walls. But there's companies out in the marketplace that have these offer wall widgets. And what they'll do is they'll they'll work with different application owners, right? So you go to an app store and you download a poker game, you're playing the free poker game, and to actually play with chips, you got to buy them, right. But if an offer wall company has done a deal with a poker app, they can say, OK, why don't we put our offer wall on your app, and instead of somebody having to go and pay for chips, if they go on our offer wall and start signing up for offers, which will be no cost to the consumer. They'll pay the poker app, a percentage of whatever the commission is from that affiliate offer. Hmm, interesting, right? It all comes together, guys, there's so many creative ways that you can make money, right? So in that instance, somebody has an offer wall, they don't have traffic. What they do have is they have the syndication of multiple offers, because they have the relation with the advertiser. And they go and find placements, not for one offer, but their their entire offer wall. Right. And from the consumers perspective, if they're on the pokers the app, right? If I want to sign up, let's say hypothetically the offers is a Netflix subscription, or a Hulu subscription, right? free trial. Well, Netflix may pay $20, for someone to sign up for a free trial, right? So if I don't have Netflix, and I want to sign up for Netflix, why not do it on that, where I want poker chips, it costs me nothing, and I was gonna do it anyway, I was gonna go to Netflix and sign up anyway. So why not sign up on an off the wall. And then, by the way, whatever the value of the commission is that would then be split with the offer wall company and the app company, then the app company would then a lot X amount of chips based on the value of whatever they're getting paid to you as the consumer. So it works for about everybody wins, right? registration paths, which is co registration link outs registration path. What that means is somebody signs up for something. And after they sign up, companies are trying to monetize that visit. So they can afford to pay for the media on the front end. So lead generation companies do this all the time, right? If you're out there, and you're generating a lead for life insurance, right? Somebody signs up says they're interested in learning more about term or whole life insurance as a lead, right? You can have a form where you're generating traffic to a life insurance form, the person fills out all the information that the advertiser needs. So they sign up, they thought all the information, you take that you give that to the insurance company, they pay you for that traffic. What's next? You could say Thank you. Bye. Or you could have a path where you take them down surveys, asking him questions like, well, if you're interested in life insurance, are you also interested in health insurance? Right? Are you also are you looking to go back to school? Are you looking for new car? Do you need car insurance? Right? Every time you ask a question on the back end, if you can get people to opt in and say yes, there are people out there that would buy that information. And they'd want to promote the people going through the flow. Those are the people that would be opting in saying, I'm interested. I'm interested in the life insurance. I'm also interested in somebody who has some car insurance call me. So yes, give them more information. Tell him to call me. Yes, I'm looking for a home loan. Yes, I'm looking to consolidate my credit card debt, a lot of different options, tons of different things. But in any event, that's the kind of stuff that you can put on the back end, right. So there are affiliates that do that there are affiliate offers, on the back end, there's companies out there that will do everything that a registration path will do, they'll go out, they'll find the advertisers that want to buy information of people opting in, they want to buy leads. Well, there's other companies that have the lead gen form, they have the front end lead gen form, but they don't have the backend registration path, to monetize the traffic, in addition to the first page signup, so what a mid path solution is, is they'll come and help that lead generation company, monetize the backend, and they'll do some sort of revenue share with them. So you can get into that mid path and promote your offer. And wherever that mid path solution is placed, they could be on 150 different lead generation sites, then you can get traffic, all of these things here. Traffic distribution, this is what affiliates do, right? The quality of each of the sources is going to range very different. So you got to be careful with what you're willing to run traffic to. It's never going to be the same, right? Your epcs are going to be different for every one of these different channels. OK, the value is going to be different. The quality of traffic, the conversion rates, they are going to be different. It's all around intent, and their audience and what the buyers mindset is, but so these are all the ways that people are becoming affiliates. OK, you can be an affiliate, you can go and do all of this. But what if you're saying, Man, I don't know how to do any of this stuff. I'm new. Come on, Eric, you said you're making this easy? Well, OK. Well, guess what, guys, here's the easy thing. They call them affiliate networks. OK. And you don't need to have a big, crazy company with 1000s of people, you could be a one man shop. affiliate network is an affiliate broker. What does that mean? That means that you have people that can drive traffic, like any of the 17 things on here, they're your distribution.
Now what you got to do, you got to go find offers, you got to go find a unique offer, that that advertiser is looking for traffic or distribution. And what you're going to do is, you're going to play a middle, you're going to go with the offer from the advertiser, you're going to go find distribution from other affiliates, you're going to make a market and you're going to make money in between. You don't have to do anything other than broker the deal. Massive business guys, massive. I know tons of people that make a lot of money, I make good money doing that. Over the years, I've made millions and millions of dollars doing that. OK. There's tons of value there. Right? advertisers are looking for distribution. They don't know where to get it. Or know to find it. affiliates, publishers, they're looking for really good offers. They don't know where to get it. They don't want to go and try to find offers. They don't want to deal with that. It's too much work. They’re focusing on how to get distribution and traffic. They can't do both things. Right. So now you got to scale you got to go by an average. Yeah, go hire salespeople to find advertisers. You got to find sales people to go and find publishers. That's when you start scaling your business, right? That's when you start getting bigger. You're a one man shop now, right? So what you're gonna do is you're gonna add value, and you're gonna be in the middle, you're gonna control the relationships. And that's super, super powerful for anybody. And I mean, anybody that's down on their luck wants to make some some money. This is the quickest way to do it. You don't have to do anything. You don’t have to own the product. You don't have to go out and buy any media. You don't have to spend any money whatsoever. So I started my business. read my book. So I started my business, made a lot of money doing it. It's a It's great. Don't make any investments except your time. You have to hustle, but it's very, very lucrative. So that's the affiliate traffic distribution. How do I get started? OK, so let's put together a quick little six steps here for anybody that's listening this and you're like, man, I don't know what to do now. So, here, here's the deal. This is how you do it. And this is as simple as it gets. Make a list of things you like, things you love. Top Five niches. Just make a list, right? Sports, solar fitness, nutrition, health, boxing, jogging, whatever relationships, right? Then think about products within that niche that you love. Something that you like. If you have an audience, OK, this is important, guys: You need to know what the audience likes. Not what you like. What your audience likes. We're just getting started, you don't even know where to start, you likely don't have an audience. So you're going to go and you're going to just kind of look around for stuff. So like, solar landscape lights as an example. OK, guys, I'm going crazy with solar landscapes. I found some awesome lights on Amazon. I paid a ton of money for my front of my house for our landscape lights, like 1000s upon 1000s of dollars to this electrician. And then a few years later, I wanted to do my back and house pretty big. So I got a lot. And I got these crazy quotes for like 3040 $50,000 do lights and I'm like, oh, man, I don't want to pay that. No way. So I started like buying some solar lights, just just like for fun. And now like, I'm addicted, I just I mean, my backyard looks like it's got these torches in there that look like survivor. I've got some like flowers that light up at night. I got a lot of stuff going on back there. And my wife Allie thinks I'm nuts. But like, the point is, is that when I got sort of like, Well, guess what? Then there's some buddies in town that were like, yo, that's really cool. That looks so dope. Where did you get that? pattern? Amazon? Oh, no way. Yo, can you send me a link? Sure. I can send you're like, no problem. Guess what, guys? What I do? Went to Amazon, right? Sign up and create an affiliate account. takes about five to 10 minutes tops. Once I set it up. I searched for products. I said give me my unique link for this solar light. I got the link, I gave that link to my friend, my friend bought the solar lights. I made money. I mean, the can't get easier than that. It cannot get easier than that, guys. And that's real life that happened. Right? Well, that's kind of the way it works, right? I just gave other examples of things. You can look for plant based diets, health insurance, exercise equipment, tennis rackets. Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, right? plant based diets. If you go on and you look for some plant based diets, you know, I'd recommend something that if you've done it and you like it, then yeah, you should promote it. I mean, if you know it works, yeah, you should promote it. Right? You can go and you type in. And this is how it works. Number three, go into Google and to bang into any search engine. Amazon's a search engine, OK. typing the product name. And then affiliate program, go into Google, type in all birds affiliate program. OK. You'll be able to sign up and promote all birds shoes, and get people to go to their site. And when they do if they buy anything, you're going to make a commission. Simple as that guys. So you just want to sign up, create some affiliate accounts for yourself. Once you're accepted, in each account, there will be unique links for you. This is how they know that you drove that sale that you drove the traffic. You got the distribution. So there's no guessing anything, right? People like why if they go to allbirds.com? How do they know it was from me? They don't. They won't. They will not know unless you use your link. Right? That's the whole point. When you send out an email, you put your link in the email, when they click, they go to that page. That's all birds. But on the back end, in those URLs, all those parameters that you don't need to understand you don't need to be tech savvy. You don't need to know any of that stuff. You just got to make sure you use your link and they will be able to track it back to your Count, OK, all of the activity will be tracked inside their affiliate network, or their affiliate program, whatever their tracking site is, they'll they'll tell you when you have a sale. So you can log into your account, look at it, you see on the dashboard, I got 100 clicks, 10 sales, I'm getting paid $100, a sale, I made 1000 bucks today. But you can be promoting 500 different affiliate programs at one time if you wanted to. That's what's so powerful about this, right? And why it's so unbelievable that you can scale is because you don't have to go and produce product, you don't have to be a customer service. Rep, you don't have to deal with customers at all your job is to get people to see the advertisers offers. And that's it. And there's a huge value. So either do it yourself, if you have some expertise in some way to drive traffic, or you broker deals, you find people that have traffic, you find the deals, OK, there's a lot of different strategies on how you can do that to make yourself unique. To make yourself different, we're not going to go into that today. This is super simple stuff right now that we're staying focused on, right. So figure out initially like go search for the affiliate program, make an account, make an affiliate account, get your unique link, and promote it. People will buy things from you click, you're going to make commissions you're going to earn money, and you're on your way to a side hustle, you're on your way to start creating some some money. If you like it, awesome.
You want to scale that business? It's very possible. I've done millions and millions of dollars in the space, millions and millions of dollars. And I promise you, I'm nothing special. And I could show you how to do it. Just ask. Happy to. But So guys, like I said, I'm not selling you anything. This is just to put this out into the world because I've gotten a lot of questions from people in my tech community, asking me questions about this. Just a lot of questions about just, you know, the confusion around how do I do it? How do we get started? How do they know it's my, my traffic, I thought it was a good idea for us to just kind of go over that quickly. This is, this is what it is. This is this is Affiliate Marketing 101 For Beginners. Anybody in the world can do it, you can do this, you can make a few bucks on the side, try it start, maybe start making some money, where you're like, Oh my god, this is actually possible. And now you start to scale a little bit, get a two point with, where you're making enough money to what you get paid in your job. Now you got something. Now you can leave your job, nothing will change. Think about that.
If you can get to a place where you can generate as much money on the side that you are making at your job; and you're spending probably 40 to 60 hours a week on your job; What do you think's going to happen when you quit your job and start focusing on 100% of this? Hmm, exactly. You're going to quadruple ten times as much as you're making. And that's where it starts to get really, really exciting for you. Because now you're going to start generating more revenue, more money than you've ever made in your entire life. And you're going to be like, Wow, it is possible! For all people that put the ceiling, right: You're stopping yourself from growing. You can do it. And it's all done through this super simple stuff without having any real tech skills. You don't need a lot of money. You just got to hustle, man! You got to understand the dynamic of how this works. You just got to go out and hustle. I hope this was helpful. Let me know.
